چکیده

With an increasing appreciation for the unique pharmacological properties associated with distinct, individual cannabinoids of Cannabis sativa, there is demand accurate and reliable quantification a growing number them. Although recent methods are based on highly selective chromatography-mass spectrometry technology, most limited to few cannabinoids, while relying unnecessarily sophisticated expensive ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Here we report optimised, simple extraction method followed by high separation. The detection performed using time-of-flight spectrometer that available in natural products research laboratories. Due simplicity instrumentation, robustness resulting from resolution isobaric well suited routine phytocannabinoid analysis range applications. was validated terms limits, repeatability, recoveries total 17 cannabinoids: limits were 11–520 pg when 1 µL sample injection volume, recovery percentages ranged 85% 108%. subsequently applied determine cannabinoid composition inflorescences several medicinal sativa varieties.

Identification and quantification of cannabinoids in Cannabis sativa L. plants by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.

High performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS) has been successfully applied to cannabis plant extracts in order to identify cannabinoid compounds after their quantitative isolation by means of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). MS conditions were optimized by means of a central composite design (CCD) approach, and the analysis method was fully validated. Six ma...

Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass/Mass Spectrometry for the Quantification of Fudosteine in Human Serum without Precolumn Derivatization

A quantitative analysis method for fudosteine in human serum by high-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI/MS/MS) was established, which shows high sensitivity and selectivity. The mobile phase composition was 75% 20 mM acetic acid and 25% acetonitril, which was pumped at a flow rate of 0.40 mL/min. The overall chromatographic run time was ...

Simultaneous quantification of amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide in human plasma by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry

A selective, sensitive and precise assay based on solid phase extraction and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed for the simultaneous determination of amiloride (AMI) and hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) in human plasma. Sample clean-up with 250 µL of plasma was done on Phenomenex Strata™-X extraction cartridges using their labeled internal standards (AMI-15N3 and ...

Quantification of Protein Phosphorylation by Liquid Chromatography−Mass Spectrometry

The identification and quantification of specific phosphorylation sites within a protein by mass spectrometry has proved challenging when measured from peptides after protein digestion because each peptide has a unique ionization efficiency that alters with modification, such as phosphorylation, and because phosphorylation can alter cleavage by trypsin, shifting peptide distribution. In additio...
